2019 is the 8th year crews of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race have supported childhood cancer research funded by The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Since 2011, Tony Kirby and the Patrice crew have raised more than $200,000 to support childhood cancer research through The Kids’ Cancer Project. Over the years other yachts have joined Tony in raising funds to help find a cure for children’s cancer.

Did you know:

  • Childhood cancer kills more children in Australia than any other disease.
  • Over 950 children are diagnosed each year with cancer with 150 of those dying.
  • Treatments can be harsh on their little bodies with many suffering life long side effects

Your donation will help fund vital research to help find a cure and kinder, more effective treatments for these children.

Please support these very generous crews to raise funds during this year’s race by sponsoring their efforts on the ‘Give Now’ button on their Team page.

The Kids' Cancer Project

The Kids’ Cancer Project is an independent national charity dedicated to supporting childhood cancer research. Kids' cancer is different to adult cancer. Current treatments like radiation and chemotherapy are very harsh causing many kids to develop side-effects long after treatment has ended.

If you believe science is the solution join us. By working together, we will make a difference to help kids with cancer.
